Steadman & Trey were awesome!! Making sure everyone was comfortable and took the time to show some youngsters how things worked. Highly recommend and we will definitely be returning soon!
If you're looking for a crusty old sea captain on your fishing trip...Capt. Steady isn't for you! My wife and I booked a half day inshore fishing trip with Capt. Steadman and could not have had a better experience. He was professional to the letter, helpful, patient, pleasant, and downright entertaining. On top of the absolutely stellar service, we caught a boatload of fish! He knew exactly where to go and what we'd find there. Within about 30 seconds of the first line being cast, we were reeling them in! We'd sometimes go 15-20 minutes with no action, but he'd move us to another spot and, sure enough, right back to catching fish. The boat was comfortable and fully-equipped for the task at hand. The only negative I have is that his 'mates' (dogs) had a vet appointment that day, so they couldn't join us for the fun! :( We'll absolutely see him the next time we're in town!
This was hands down the most fun we’ve ever had fishing as a family! We had four adults and two kids (ages 10 and under), and Captain Stedman made the entire experience incredible from start to finish. We caught 19 fish between the six of us, which made for an exciting day on the water! Captain Stedman clearly knows exactly what he’s doing and put us in great spots to catch fish. But what really made the trip special was his personality. His charm, charisma, and energy are contagious, and he made the whole experience fun for everyone. He was especially great with our kids—kind, encouraging, and incredibly patient. That meant a lot to us and made this a fishing trip our family will be talking about for a long time. This charter will absolutely become part of our annual Ocean City, Maryland vacation. We’re already looking forward to going back next year! Highly recommend Captain Stedman, especially for families with kids. An awesome experience all around!
I had the most incredible experience shark fishing with Captain Stedman! On the way out, he guided a kayaker in the middle of the sea lanes to safety. Then, under the drawbridge and not too far off shore, we began to fish. The captain knew exactly where to go, and within 30 minutes, I was battling the largest fish of my life!! I fought with what turned out to be a GIANT sand tiger shark for over half an hour. The captain coached me on exactly what to do and when. Not only that, he had to maneuver the boat and walk the rig around the front of the boat and under the anchor line back to me due to the creature changing direction multiple times. We had an absolutely incredible shark fishing trip with Captain Stedman and Unshakeable Charters. From start to finish, the captain and first mate were unbelievably friendly, helpful, attentive, and genuinely focused on making sure everyone had a great time. They made the entire experience fun, relaxed, and memorable, and their enthusiasm made the trip even better. The perfect ending came on the ride back when we were treated to an unexpected dolphin show. Watching the dolphins swim and jump alongside the boat was easily one of the coolest things we have ever experienced. We would highly recommend Captain Stedman and Unshakeable Charters to anyone looking for an amazing day on the water. We cannot wait to get back to Ocean City and book another trip with them!
Would recommend. Ive been taking my teenagers on fishing trips fo years but this was my 8 year olds first time. He was so excited and was 100mph. The captain was able to slow him down and involve him so much, answer his million questions all while educating him. Long story short he had his hands full with my little guy and he enjoyed it so much not only does he want to go again but was already like “ Dad maybe we can go out again with him tomorrow😂🤣” Thanks again what a great experience
