Great time and a lot of fish

We recently went on a fishing trip and had an amazing experience! Our captain was incredibly knowledgeable, knowing exactly where to take us so the fish were biting. We caught plenty and had a great time from start to finish. One thing that really stood out was how considerate the captain was, especially since we had a young child with us. He made sure to keep things safe and fun for everyone, even taking a moment to stop and give our little one the chance to pull in his own fish — which absolutely made his day! Between the great fishing, the captain’s expertise, and the thoughtful touches that made the trip enjoyable for all ages, we couldn’t have asked for a better day on the water. Highly recommend!

Thank you very much, we take a lot of pride in what we do. We love to have all kinds of groups on the boat, from experienced to beginners, and everything in between, but our favorite is children! My boy's were very young when I introduced them to fishing, and now one of them (Paul) is my mate, and works very hard to make sure everyone is included and has a great time. It was a pleasure to have you guys on the boat, and hope to see you back in the near future. Dziekuje!!

    Incredible day on the water

    We had an absolutely incredible experience with Stolat Fishing Charters and Capt. Paul and mate Paul! We were two dads taking our four kids, ages 3–10, out for the day while the wives enjoyed a well-deserved kid-free day. We honestly weren’t sure how four young kids would do on a fishing charter, but Paul and Paul absolutely knocked it out of the park. After about a 25-minute ride out of the harbor, the lines went in and we were immediately on fish. What followed was about 2.5 hours of almost nonstop action. We had four lines out and at times were fighting three fish at once. The kids were absolutely ecstatic. What impressed us most, though, was how great they were with the kids. Paul, the mate, didn’t just help them reel fish in — he took the time to actually teach them how to fight the fish, work the rod, and then even let them hand-line the fish the rest of the way into the boat. He was patient, encouraging, and made sure every one of the kids was involved and having fun. By the end of our four-hour trip, we had landed 92 fish — 90 Spanish mackerel and 2 bluefish. More importantly, four kids walked off that boat absolutely thrilled and with a fishing story they’ll probably be telling for a long time. Capt. Paul and Paul exceeded every expectation we had. If you’re looking for a charter in the Outer Banks, especially if you’re bringing kids, we couldn’t recommend Stolat Fishing Charters enough. We’ll absolutely be back!

    Good catch!

    6-stündiger Ausflug – Küstennah im Ozean • 4 Erwachsene

    I have been fishing in the OBX for years and after the last few years I made it a point to find a new captain. I explicitly stated I did not want to come back with nothing but blue fish. Obviously there is no way to just catch one type of fish in the ocean and Paul let helped give other suggestions like offshore and wreckage trips. However, we were more keen to stay inshore on this trip. All in all we caught 4 blues and the others were spanish mackerel (what I was looking for). I am not sure if we just got lucky or this was due in part to captain Paul knowing the area so well. Either way I couldn’t have been happier with our trip and would recommend him to others! Little Paul was great too! Oneal’s was also fantastic for fresh fish we did not catch and wanted.

    Thank you Dan, you guy's were a pleasure to have fishing with us, and even though we didn't kill it, it was a great time! As far as my strategy, you told me multiple times that you didn't want Bluefish, so yes, it was my plan to do what I did, I just wish it was a little better than what it was, but I definitely wasn't disappointed in our catch, it was definitely pretty good for what the morning was. We hope to see back in the near future. Thanks again

    Our First Chapter!

    We had a great time. Both Pauls (Captain and First Mate) were couterious, welcoming and briefed us on everything we needed to know. We caught fish and had them cleaned when we arrived at the pier. All in all an excellent outing. Today was our first charter. We will defintely be back. Thanks for a wonderful day.

Mother Nature didn't allow us to get in the Ocean, but we did the best we could, to try and provide a good experience for you.     Both Captain Paul and First Mate Paul were friendly and accommodating. Captain Paul was communicative before the trip and the first mate was a wealth of knowledge during. Great trip for beginners. At some times we had all four fishing poles with catch on them. Wear sunscreen and comfy clothes. Flip flops were fine. We caught blue fish and spanish mackerel.
