Sorry the fish didn’t cooperate with you as much as you wanted - tough season for sure. Honestly a couple of fish and a bunch of hits has been a pretty good 4 hour trip.
Captain Aaron was great! He took time and talked to our 4 and seven year olds making them have a great time. He was very knowledgeable of the area and knew where the fish were. We caught Cod. Pollack, Mackerel and another type I don’t remember the name. He narrated the whole trip explaining the area around Portland Harbor and the Portland Head Lighthouse. When our time was up he took extra time to show us seal that we said we were interested in seeing. It was a great day for our family of six and we highly recommend Rock and Sand Charters with Captain Aaron.
Captain Aaron was a great teacher, kind, and really wanted us to catch fish. He was probably happier and super psyched when we landed 2 HUGE stripers after hunting them for a few hours. Thanks for showing us a super unique way of fishing...we enjoyed our time so much!!

It was fun for sure despite one down and out with the rolling waves. We never had fished for bait fish so that was new to us. Only thing is we wish there was bait on board so we could have fished for stripper longer. We are an expercied fihsing crew and sometimes you are on them and sometimes not. We higly recommend!
Our experience was off the charts. Grandsons caught tons of fish!! Captain Aaron was great with the boys - very patient , positive and knowledgeable. We will definitly book again!!!

Captain Aaron was terrific! He had a great knowledge of the area and where best to fish. We caught lots of mackerel and saw a giant sun fish.
