Captain Jeremy put us on fish almost immediately! We caught lots of mingo snapper, and trigger fish! had to put back lots of red snapper and undersized red grouper. Caught our limit of trigger fish. This trip is best for small groups who want lots of action. Just bring sunscreen and any snacks you may need.
My 11 and 9 yr old boys and I went out for an afternoon trip on 4/7/2026 with Captain Jeremy and we had an absolute blast. His original plan for us was going to be too rough due to wind conditions so he pivoted to fishing the bay and what a great decision. The bite started slow but Captain Jeremy kept moving us in the perfect positions for my boys and even myself to catch a few(also lost the biggest CJ had seen in while just short of boat). We landed 15 and had many bites. He also taught us important lesson about "Shoemaker" fish, myself and my 2 boys would have absolutely just grabbed this very dangerous fish, twice...CJ also cleaned and showed us how to properly process the great meat on these mackerel. We took a couple pounds to Anglers restaurant where they cooked a pound fried and cooked a pound blackened for us and we all decided it was in our top 3 fish ever. They even loved the pan seared butter and lemon pepper mackerel I cooked for us. We can't thank Captain Jeremy enough for a great day of fighting the wind and finding the fish for us. We will absolutely go out with Jeremy next time we are in Destin. Highly recommend.
right out of the gate Captain Jeremy was doing his very best to put us on fish, and boy did he ever. we caught our limits on red grouper,almost our limit on red snapper, one mangrove snapper and had the chance at landing a seven footer shark. We totally enjoyed the whole trip and was truly amazed at how the captain kept the boat on fish and us baited up. if your fishing near okaloosa island look him up, you will not be disappointed. we had a blast and most definitely will be back to go out with captain Jeremy again!
Jeremy was absolutely incredible on our fishing trip. From the moment we got out on the water, you could tell he really knows what he’s doing. He was patient, knowledgeable, and made sure everyone was having a great time the entire trip. He put us on fish quickly and kept the energy fun and relaxed. You can tell he genuinely cares about his clients having a great experience.
