Captain Lehman is the greatest fishing guide I've ever had the privilege of meeting. He was so down to earth that if seemed as though we've known each other for years.
Now about the fish- simply put, he put us on the fish! We made several stops and caught something at each stop. A personal best redfish of 23 inches was caught, only to be replaced by another personal best 24 inch redfish! Although we hooked up and landed some undersized flounder, Captain Lehman took us to another spot where 3 keepers (flounder) were caught. We caught a variety of fish: redfish, flounder, mangrove snapper, jack crevalle, catfish, sea robin, and a puffer fish (I know the last four species are trash fish, we still landed them). We felt so good to end up with a keeper slam of redfish, flounder, and mangrove snapper! Seeing the manatees, dolphins, and sea turtles was a nice bonus. Like I previously stated, Captain Lehman put us on the fish- he instructed us on where to cast and what kind of action to apply- and we caught a good amount of fish! Here's to hoping for another trip in the future!
