Although the fish weren't cooperating, as other guides had similar challenges that day, Arturo made it fun and we kept aggressively working the schools of fish. We caught 3 keepers and still had a great time and will fish again next year with Arturo.
My best friend and I have been friends since we were 10 years old, and now in our 50s we decided to spend a girls weekend in Padre Island. We booked an 8 hour trip with Captin Arturo Calderas with Get'm Hooked Fishing Charters. It was our first time doing a trip like this because we are from Colorado. My son and I are just used to regular fishing at lakes and ponds. So Visiting South Padre Island and getting this trip marked off our bucket list was an awesome experience and Also it was his birthday gift he requested. Our captain took extra care of my son and put on us on some really good hot spots, we cought a total of 20 fish and my son cooight 16 and I cought 4. My son was so excited and that's all that mattered to me thanks to our Captain he was very knowledgeable of the area and made this experience one not to forget, Thank you Get'm hooked/ Arturo Calderas.

we had a young angler catch his first fish. Captain you understood the assignment and made it happen for him. the whole family hada great time. Captain is very friendly, funny and extremely knowledgeable. He put us on the fish!!
we took a short trip because we didn’t know what to expect and my only regret is that we took a short trip lol! Captian was fun, informative and played good music! boat was clean a spacious !!
