The captain had some mechanical issues with his boat and wasn’t able to make our trip happen. He was able to get us paired up with another boat/captain the night before which was a plus. Long story short, it was a rough day for our crew. We sat around about 6 other boats that were NON-STOP reeling in keeper after keeper after keeper….all while we were catching hard heads and tiny reds. Not blaming this on our booked or used captains just stating the facts. Can’t always have a great day catching but this was an exceptionally lackluster trip by a long shot. I would recommend talking to a few captains ahead of booking anything to see how it’s been going and to ensure they’ve got reliable equipment and vetted results just so you know what you could be in for.
It was a great trip! Even with 4 guys, most of which hadnt fished, Blake set us up and helped us have a great time!

Blake was great! Knowledgeable and friendly. My first time fishing and he was very patient. My husband and I had a great time.
