Great morning bite. It wasnt very long after Captain Scott got the lines set that pure chaos started with the fish hitting fast. We had multiple fish hit the deck in the matter of minutes. We still caught plenty of fish after the intial surge of Kings. The wind shifted and the lake started building quicker than anticipated but, Captain Scott was always very aware of the situation and made sure we still were able to continue to fish. He kept the boat on a good, comfortable and safe line for the conditions. Top notch Captian and first mate!

We had a fantastic time catching salmon with Captain Scott and Captain Don. We’ve never fished on Lake Michigan and didn’t have high expectations - we figured we would be doing well to catch 1 or 2. Boy, were we wrong! We caught 12 salmon and probably could have caught more if they hadn’t given us time to recuperate from the rapid succession of reeling in fish. The captain is excellent and the boat and gear are great. I would highly recommend this charter to anyone seeking an amazing fishing trip.

Captain Scott and his first mate Stub were outgoing, knowledgeable, proficient, and very prompt when it came time to catching fish. The trip was high paced, safe, and very memorable for our party. Would recommend 3rd Rock N' Reel to others. Team Fish On!
