it was a slow fishing day…but Jeb was friendly and did his best to ensure we didn’t leave without dinner!
Guide Jed Harper put us on fish all day long, even on a windy day today! Jed was professional, courteous and enthusiastic, coaching us where to cast an how to fish a certain spot when we asked. We ended up catching 22 crappie (several were huge), white bass, a couple of nice channel cats, a spotted bass and lots of yellow bass (which we released). His boat was fast and got us to the next hole quickly, and he baited every hook, boxed every fish and provided all the gear. Afterwards he filleted all the fish and put them in our cooler. Jed loves people almost as much as he loves fishing— highly recommend!
Even though it was an extremely hot day, making the conditions tough for fishing, Captain Jed put us on some fish and made the trip fun. We caught crappie, bream, bass, and walleye.
