Captain Larry was great and very friendly! He was on time and caught live bait before we headed out to fish. The bites were great, just the catching was slow going. Couldn’t make it out to the gulf due to the weather but all in all the experience was great!
Captain Larry is very knowledgeable as to the layout of the waters and makes it a top priority for the group to get onto a school of fish for the best chance of success. He also throughly explains and demonstrates different fishing techniques and has many extra rods ready to go as backup in case a line breaks to minimize any down time. If I find myself in Destin and looking for another fishing adventure, I would without a doubt book with Larry again. “Spanish ‘til they vanish”
caught Spanish Mackerel. captian knew where to find them. we caught fish. just wanted to catch fish. recommend this trip to averyone. it was really fun carching fish. trip is best for adults and kids to new begginers all should try it. check with the weather before booking and times. captian did great. weather was not foing to be great for our time and he changed theschedule around and gave us a awesome tine ou there fishing.
Captain Larry was engaging, fun, amazing with our two girls (13 & 8), and knowledgeable with the area and where to find all the marine life! We encountered jelly fish, sting rays, sharks, and had an up close and personal interaction with a dolphin that came right up to our boat! This was more than just a fishing trip, it was an unforgettable experience for our whole family! Captain Larry was extremely patient, calm, and helpful teaching us how to fish, hold the reel, baiting, and educating us on the fish we caught! All four of us caught fish which made for a truly amazing experience! We will be booking with him again on our next trip!

From the moment we booked, Captain Larry text me and verified our trip. Day of, he was ready to go at the dock. Clean boat, lots of drinks and great equipment. He asked what we wanted to do, catch fish, sight see, dolphins whatever he could do it. He will even take you on a boat ride if that’s all you wanna do. I’ve never taken a charter and my dream fish was catching a red fish. Captain Larry said “say less”. Within 3 minutes of getting to the spot, I caught my dream fish. It was a monster red! And then another monster, and another. I’m new to fishing, and he was able to answer all my questions. I learned a lot. Captain Larry prioritizes safety on the waters. He’ll put you where you want, and you can tell he’s well respected and experienced by being able to read the weather and the waters. Captain Larry went above and beyond is there for the customer’s experience and safety. Captain Larry knows what he did for my group and it will be remembered for life. I shared the details with my friend who is a Captain in another state told me “that’s a great Captain, and is unheard of in the community.” I won’t book anyone else after this trip and he set the bar so high.
