4 Hour Trip – Cobia2 Erwachsene

Jonny and John are a very professional and accommodating crew! They keep their equipment and boat in tip top shape. Meeting at the dock the crew were very polite and welcoming, we left the dock on time exactly and head to the fishing grounds. John and Jonny were quick to set up and put baits in the water. Bait was fresh and also live lined spot. Continued a constant chum line and worked the lines diligently to be sure bait was fresh at all times! Unfortunately, the targeted fish are not always there, but it was a great time for my brother and I fishing on the Salty Hooker! See you next time Jonny and John!

    Amazing trip

    Jon was a great captain. very knformation, bantered well with both myself and my daughter, and was pleasant. When we did get in the fish, he was helpful and instructive. We managed to catch a 36 inch and citation worthy 50 inch Red Drums, and Jon followed up with how to record that catch. He also participates in the tagging program for Virginia fisheries, which i thinknis admirable. Inwould absolutely book again

    Captain Jon was great. I caught 7 red drum (landed 6). Smallest was 33”, 4 between 35-37” and one citation 47”. Other highlight was a very large pod of dolphins and a great sunset. I highly Salty Hooker for a fantastic fishing trip.

    Thanks Bob!  I had an awesome time as well and will be talking about that trip with customers for a long time… My buddies that were up there ended up landing six as well… he told me at the dock that night that he ran out of bait. That’s why he left before we did.👍🏻

    Captan Jon was amazing. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the trip very enjoyable. We caught a bunch of Red Drum. We would definitely book another trip o the Salty Hooker.
