We aren’t experienced fisherman but anyone can catch some fish with Coleson. It was a fun trip and we even got cooking tips on what to do with our catch that the Captain cleaned for us.
Capt Stu n 1st mate Ethan are the Dynamic Duo!!! They put us on the fish immediately after we started our first drift; it was nonstop reeling in for my 2 grandsons ages 7n 10, just those two caught approximately 30 fish and quite a few doubleheaders!!! My son caught a 16 inch weakfish and quite a few throwbacks . As the captain did not have an afternoon trip planned the offer to keep us out longer than our four hour scheduled charter. We then trolled for blues in Spanish mackerel while the captain and Ethan were site casting for Cobia That’s when all the fun started ; my oldest grandson, after Ethan threw the lure right in front of the first Cobia fought the fish for approximately a minute and a half before Ethan netted it; 42 inches 22 pounds. The younger grandson brought in with the help of his father a 35 inch cobia which we had to throw back! At the dock, they cleaned all our fish just the way we asked, and put them on ice Cobia , croaker and Weakfish fillets!!!! This charter was the best we have ever had! I would highly recommend this charter for an outstanding day of fishing with a very knowledgeable n very friendly crew!!! Thanks Capt , you guys were great. Hope to see you next year. Took my three younger kids out for a father kids fishing morning, half day in the bay. Captain Stuart was great with them and me and had us on fish all day, caught about 90-100 croaker, non-stop action, kids loved it and it’ll be a great memory for them! Highly recommend it for kids and looking forward to going out with him for bigger sport fish in the near future!

We had a great time. Tried a little one everything, trolling, chumming and bottoms fishing. Fish were not exactly cooperative till we got to bottom fishing, but all in all, a great day.
Capt. Stuart was super friendly and a great guide on a big river. Every spot we went to, we got some keepers on the boat. He was great with my 9 year old helping her reel in the fish. The morning was great and I would highly recommend this trip or any that Capt. Stuart has to anyone!
