He made sure we were all having a good experience And we got lucky and all got our fish! He was also great with filleting the fish,although I would have liked him to offer me the fish head, as the fish cheeks are some of the most delectable part of the fish. He also gave me some roe and the roe of the Chinook is some of the best caviar!
Absolutely the best trip. Captain Zach was very helpful and professional. He was very knowledgeable and skillful. Our trip was short because we caught our limit in less than 2 hours, but it was enjoyable and productive. Highly recommended.

This fishing excursion for us was both Fun and We all caught fish. Thats the whole reason we were here. Captain Zach did a superior job of being on time, getting us on the fish, putting us at the right depth, catching our limit within the rules, and being both the captain and 1st mate in every way, deserves a standing ovation ! He even cleaned AND filleted the fish. Who does THAT ? I’m trying to tell you who, Captain Zachary Shirley ! And for that plus all the things I don’t have the space to tell you about, We give Zach’s fish CATCHING service 5 out of 5 stars. Very Impressive !
Zach had an injury before our trip. when I got the phone call that he was injured my heart Sank...we had looked forward to this trip for months ahead of time, I was so relived when he told me he had already found someone else to take over for the trip. He seemed genuinely concerned we had a good time and were taken care of. Mike our guide was amazing as well. We had a great day on the water. He was patient, kind, and very personable. Seemed genuinely invested in our overall experience. Can't say enough good things about either of these gentlemen.
