Captain Chris was the best. Great Customer service. You could tell how much he loves what he does. I will definitely use him again in the future!
Chris was a wonderful captain. He was personable and knowledgeable about not just the area's good fishing spots, but the local wildlife as well. He was patient with some of our group's inexperience fishing and helped wherever needed. We saw sea turtles, a hammerhead shark eating, and a whole school of rays with pointed fins that almost looked like birds as they swam under us. He took us to a fun spot to hunt for sea shells, and we spent plenty of time in the water swimming to beat the heat. The highlight of the trip was when he lifted the boat's motor a bit to form a large wake and dolphins swam and jumped through it, following along with us like it was a carnival ride. I highly recommend Chris as a captain if you are looking for a fun day-long trip in the cape. Thoughwe did not catch fish, I think it was beause it was one of the hottest days of the summer, and the fish were either in cooler, deeper water or too lazy to bite. Our group got tired and wanted to head back a bit early too, through Chris would have been happy to stay out and try additional spots with us. It was just not great weather to catch fish, so we didn't have much luck.
Captain Chris was amazing! It was my son’s first time going out on a trip like this, and he had an absolute blast. We caught mangrove snapper and speckled trout, which made the experience even more exciting for him. The trip was not only a lot of fun, but also very educational — my son learned so much along the way. Captain Chris was personable, great with communication, and kept us updated the day before and the morning of the trip due to weather conditions. We had an amazing experience and would highly recommend him to both families and adult groups!
I am sure I will miss something about all Captain Chris did for us to be so accommodating for this trip. This was a gift to my spouse and grown children and they had a great time. The day they were supposed to go was a bad weather day. Captain Chris reached out to me to let me know and to see if there was another day they could go. He did a lot of juggling to get them in at the absolute best weather day. He is extremely easy to work with. My party had nothing but praises for him. Even though it was not a good fishing day (but they still caught some fish) the trip was great. One of the guys told me that they assumed they would be fishing in the ocean instead of the river/bay. They said they are glad they did not know that, because they would have missed out on the great experience they had with Captain Chris. There is no way I can write every way he accommodated this trip from booking, rescheduling, making sure the trip was great in every way such as stated above, but he also was also flexible on where they met and fished due to red tide keeping from them from the going on the normal route. This is trip was a minimum of 4 guests, so it was very focused on my guys. If you are looking for a great time fishing that money can buy, this is it.
My wife and I started the mornign by meeting up with Chris at the boat dock, super easy to find and then off we went! We did the 4hr morning trip and had plenty of time to fish several different spots with different bait setups as well as tsrfrting different speces of fish. Conditions wete great but the fish were a little slow to hit our rigs. That didnt stop Chris from trying different spots, different lure setups, and even checking in with others on the water to see if we could find the sweet spot! We had a blast and would for sure book with him again!
we had a great trip. family of 4 with 2 young boys. Bite was good to begin with on the redfish the the wind oicked so we swapped to trolling for spanish and caught a few. Chris was grest with kids and was dun to talk to when the bite slowed down.Great trip woukd recommend for anyone looking for a family fun fishing trip we will definitely be booking again
