  Captain Jeff and his son Matt were fantastic with 3 -14yr olds and in myself (Grandma)they related well with the boys teaching them how to fish for stripe bass at the bottom. Always available for baiting, instruction, untangling lines, and answering questions. Hands on whenever needed yet let the boys do thier thing. Caught stripers, porgie’s and black sea bass. Fantastic time had by all. Highly reccommend Steal your fish Charter. Christmas Present idea!!

Here's a glowing and positive review you can use for your fishing day trip with Captain Jeff: I can’t say enough good things about our recent striped bass fishing trip with Captain Jeff out of New London. From start to finish, it was a top-notch experience. Jeff is not only incredibly knowledgeable and skilled, but he’s also a genuinely great guy, easygoing, patient, and clearly passionate about what he does. We headed out into the Sound and were on the fish in no time. Jeff knew exactly where to go, and thanks to his expert guidance, we were hauling in beautiful striped bass throughout the day. He was always ready with helpful tips, encouragement, and a great sense of humor, which made the whole trip fun and relaxed. The boat was clean, well-equipped, and comfortable, and Jeff made sure we had everything we needed. Whether you're a seasoned angler or a first-timer, you'll feel right at home aboard his boat.   First of all, everything ran smoothly from initial booking to trip confirmation through catching some good fish. Captain, Jeff, and First Mate Max were on top of everything. Rod’s gear. Everything was ready. We spent every minute casting, and we caught a few monsters first mate max expertly filleted the fish for us, and Captain and Jeff made sure that we were always in the right spot at the right time.   Happy to report Jeff and his mate provided two amateur dads and our boys with a great fishing experience. The boat was pristine and Jeff and his son were very friendly and down to earth. They were flexible, attentive and made every effort to provide the best equipment and advice to help our boys get a solid haul. Got strippers, bluefish and bass. Jeff knows what he’s doing and took us to the best spots. His son is an expert with rigs and filleting and connected with our boys. We always had a rod ready and a helping hand when needed. We had a class A experience in their capable hands, and will do it again. Highly recommended.

  Attentive, Professional & Knowledgeable Captain & Mate

  Had a great day with Capt Jeff and his Mate Max. Navigated safely through heavy fog and felt safe all day. Boat well equipped with all necessary gear to find the fish. Catch was cleanly filleted for us and packaged so we had "sea to table" within 12 hours. So tasty. Capt Jeff and max, thanks for a great experience at the Race and for sharing some tricks of the trade with me and my two sons. I highly recommended Steal Your Fish Charters with Capt Jeff.
