Tough Day on the Water
Captain Jim did his best but overall it was a tough day. Four of us caught 4 fish on a 4 hour trip. The water was rough and he tried a bunch of different spots but not much luck. The boat was OK but the trolling motor didn’t work and he had a tough time keeping us over the structure where he thought the fish were. Captain James is a pleasant guy. Not sure if Inwould book with him again.
I expect to get a poor review from time to time, mostly it's because people don't listen to me. I normally would not respond to a review such as this. During the hot part of the summer, July and August, we must get out to deeper water to catch better fish. All the inshore spots have been hammered. I give every customer booking 4 hours, the opportunity to expand to a 5-hour trip to get to deeper water to catch better fish. The pictures are from yesterday's trip. You could have caught these same fish or more had you taken my suggestion and did a 5-hour Charter. You chose to turn it down for whatever reason. You should always listen to the captain's suggestions.
