Jason was a great host and made us feel very welcome. I've had experiences w other captains that aren't very welcoming. Jason goes out of his way to make sure all your needs are met and that your having a good time. Jason worked very hard at taking us to different locations and using different baits and rigs to make sure we caught fish.
I took my son on this trip for his 16th birthday and Captian Jason did not disappoint. He put us on fish 30 minutes into the trip. My son had fish on for a good hour. He later caught the biggest flounder i have ever seen. Jason was awesome and we will be booking again with him soon.
A friend and I went fishing with Jason this last March. Originally the plan was to look for red fish, but Jason knew enough about the area to know we were better off going for your blue fish and Spanish mackerel this time of year. We ended having a great day catching a species neither of us had experience with.
Jason was an excellent captain and provided us an exceptional fishing experience. He took us to several locations both inland and out by the ocean, and gave us helpful tips. We both caught several fish. Excellent trip and we highly recommend Captain Jason!!
We did a late start 4 hour trip and had a blast. Captain Jason did a great job of walking us through how the different lures or baits worked. Jason is a cool guy and was very encouraging even as we fumbled around once in a while. My son just started fishing this summer and was able to handle the tackle just fine. I would definitely recommend booking with Captain Jason/Simple Life Fishing.
Jason is an amazing guide! We had a great time and my wife caught her first ever fish and a quick PR drum right after. He did exactly what we wanted while providing great insight and support. 10/10
