A bit chilly and windy this time of year but still a beautiful day in the water. Would recommend layers with long sleeves and long pants if you don’t like to be cold.

The water was cold and a good amount of fish were relatively small but the volume was tremendous so it was still a lot of fun.

Good fishing, but very hot. In August with warmer waters, the mornings and evenings tend to be better as the warm water during mid day makes the fish sluggish.

Make sure you time your trip with the tide schedule, incoming high tide is the best. Outgoing low tide will be slow for catching.

I would recommend Ryan with Edgewood Charters. It was a relaxing, shorter trip option just off the shore. It is a wonderful way to see the city from the water, see some dolphins and catch some fish!

Bring adequate protection from the sun. Hat, long sleeve w/UV protection and good sunscreen. The sun is blazing in September on the water. Also bring your own drinks and food.
