Great fishing yesterday in sporty conditions including this 53” 38lb cobia sporting her battle scars from a shark.

After wrapping up our evening trip, we made one last quick run—and it paid off big! We went 2-for-2 on mature female Sandbar Sharks, with both giants measuring over 8 feet long. These powerful fish delivered absolutely incredible battles on our PENN Fishing 30VISW and Fathom 60NLDII setups, testing both anglers and tackle every step of the way. After the fight, both sharks were brought alongside the boat, safely dehooked, and released in excellent condition to swim another day.
