The fish won today.

Started out with an east wind and incoming tide. Perfect fluke conditions in the bay. Then the wind switched to the southeast and blew up to 20 knots. That pretty much made the drift to 2 1/2 knots. Moved a couple times to find fishable conditions but not until the tide changed were we able to fish. Got into some fish but they were short biting and were just biting the spearing in half and would not commit.
