Resumen del viaje

Well we ran to Cat Island first thing and there were just too many boats for a bite. We ran back to a spot in close and found some nice trout and a couple nice slot redfish. The fishing is heating up but so are the temperatures. Book an early trip and beat the heat of summer.

I am running a special for all the fathers for the rest of June. Get a 6 hour trip for 500$. Normally a 6 hour trip runs 650$. Its a great time to see more water and explore the barrier islands. Must be a father and son or daughter. Wives are welcome.

The redfish bite is pretty hot in the bay and surrounding bayous. We had our one person limit with the forst three live shrimp our custumer tossed out. Several smaller ones released to swim and fight another day. The two hour trip is a good trip to see if you enjoy saltwater fishing. And as you can see it can be very fruitful.

The water is finally starting to clean up once you get away from shore a few miles. Summertime temperatures are hear so its time to get out early and hit them before sunrise when you can. The big trout are eating croakers pretty aggressively.
