Flounder , Flounder , Flounder

Caught around 15 Flounder , 2 keepers and a 5lber pulled off at the boat alomg with a nice 20” puppy drum . Pretty good action today !!

After some up and down trips the last week, the Flounder bite fires off the last few days with 25 this morning and a few junbos aoitting the hook . We managed 5 nice keepers and a couple dozen undersize fish . Had a 22” 3 1/2 lber in the boat and lost a couple at the boat that were bigger. . Good action and nice fish for dinner too!!

It has been a slower bite the last week and I let Mitch know when he got to the dock this am, but I said they “ they gotta start biting sometime “! We had a great Spring bite but for some reason the last week had produced smaller flounder and not that many opportunities per trip . That changed today . We had 3 nice keepers in the boat in first 30 minutes and by end of oir 4 hr trip had released 7-8 short fish and caught a couple bluefish and pulled off a couple Jumbos . Just gotta go to know !!
