Spring season is in full swing. Water temps are warmer and the bait fish are filling the flats. With that the trout and redfish are abundant as well as good amount of black drum. Live shrimp has been the bait of choice perch has started to be effective as well.

As the colder air and water temperatures arrive great numbers of black drum show up all over the laguna madre as well as red fish and speckled trout. If you dont mind being on the water in cooler temperatures fishing is amazing
