    Great trip!

Had a great morning of inshore fishing. Captain Cole was fun and helpful, very friendly and knowledgeable. Perfect captain to learn a lot about fishing and the fish we caught.

    (Half day trip)

    Great fishing

From start to finish these guys kept our fishing trip fun, safe, professional and made us feel like family. This fishing trip was the best trip I have been on, and I have been fishing my whole life. Highly recommend booking a fishing trip with them, the experience was nothing short of amazing! The captain a “local legend”, Craig, and Keyani couldn’t have been nicer and took pride in their work and it showed! #BaracudaBoy

Acerca de Pesca con Arpón pesca

Spearfishing is underwater hunting with simple, direct gear. Instead of casting a line, you dive and make a careful shot. It is fast, exciting, and very selective. Many anglers try it for the challenge, the closeness to the fish, and the clean harvest.

This technique can target many game fish, depending on where you dive. Around reefs and wrecks, you may find Snapper, Grouper, Hogfish, and Barracuda. In bluewater, skilled divers look for Wahoo, Mahi Mahi, Amberjack, and Tuna. In some places, spearfishing also helps remove invasive Lionfish.

Most trips use a speargun, polespear, or a Hawaiian sling. You will either freedive, which means holding your breath, or scuba dive when local rules allow it. The basics are simple. Move slowly, stay calm, and aim for a quick, humane shot. A dive buddy, a float with a flag, and clear hand signals are standard safety practice.

Expect a short boat ride to reefs, kelp, ledges, or open water. Beginners often start in shallow, protected areas with easy dives and plenty to learn. Families with older kids can enjoy gentle reef sessions. Experienced anglers may try deeper spots or bluewater drifts for larger sport fish. Bring a mask, snorkel, fins, and a wetsuit suited to the water. Many charters supply spearfishing gear, but confirm what is included before your trip.

Regulations vary by region. Always check local rules on fishing licenses or permits, open seasons, and legal species before you go. Some areas limit certain gear, require a dive flag, or close marine protected zones to harvest. When in doubt, ask your captain or local authorities for current guidance.
