Trascorri la giornata pescando a bordo di una barca di 20 piedi costruita su misura per la pesca nelle acque profonde al largo della costa insulare della Tanzania. Dispone di ampi spazi per la pesca tutt'intorno e di una copertura superiore che offre molta ombra dal calore tropicale.
La pesca intorno a Unguja deve essere vista per essere creduta. Il capitano Mardeeny ha catturato qui in passato Tonni di quasi 180 libbre, e alcuni Marlin sono semplicemente troppo grandi per essere tirati fuori dall'acqua! Ti concentrerai principalmente sulla traina per Marlin, Pesce vela, Lampuga (Mahi Mahi) e Wahoo, ma potrai anche praticare il jigging per Tonno e altre specie che si nascondono nelle profondità.

Good Fishing Trip

I have to say, everything went really well, right from the start. The Captain Amour Juma (Snipper) picked me up from my hotel at the agreed time. Got to the boat and the other two crew members were there and couldn’t do enough to help me feel comfortable. The fishing itself was a bit slow to begin with, then the reel screamed and the fun began. We got into a lovely Mahi Mahi and for about 15 minutes it showed us why it is a revered as a good fighting fish. I would recommend Captain Amour and his crew to anyone for a good day out.

A morning on the water!

Started with an on time pick up by Capt Amour and by 6.30am we were on the water.
We all know fishing doesn't guarantee catching fish but the crew of Muhammad and Arch did everything the could and were totally professional the entire 5 hours!
We had 4 strikes and got 2 on board. A 3rd we lost and a barracuda halved our 4th.
It is high summer, the water warm and I knew this wasn't going to be non stop action but as mentioned the crew never gave up trying and I will definitely be back to Capt Amour & his boat!

Fabulous 25lb yellow fin tuna

Survived a sudden squall at 6.00am to find and shadow a flock of Roseate Tern following a shoal of baitfish. Flying fish skimming the waves around us. Then the shoals of tuna attacked around us - incredible to be in the midst. The professional crew kept us within range - caught two yellowfin - the largest 11kg. Stayed within range for a lot longer until a small storm threatened and headed to shore soaked but satisfied. All within 2 hours. Planning to head back again soon. Highly recommended - great crew, transport well organised and great equipment v

Zanzibar fishing can be very expensive. Some boats are grand and $$$ and some are very small, wooden (almost sketchy).
This boat was perfect and comfortable for me and my husband.
We were picked up and dropped off at our hotel on time! We saw dolphins, tuna, and marlins! We caught one King fish!
We even got to try spear fishing!
The crew had fresh pineapple for us, crepes, water and pop! Overall, it was Alots of fun!
We were gone 530am and back at the hotel by 1:30!!!!
I loved that it didnt take an ENTIRE day! A perfect morning excursion 😊
