Xama Adventures – Caprivi Fishing Safari 

If you’re looking to embark on a fishing adventure that is truly like no other, grab your rods and reels and join Xama Adventures along Namibia’s Caprivi Strip! You’ll spend 10 days drifting down various rivers, before ending up at the famous Zambezi River. Battle this area’s favorite game fish, the Tigerfish, hook into freshwater species, and take in some stunning scenery as you immerse yourself in this incredible wilderness.

This special fishing safari starts off in Windhoek, where a local and experienced guide will meet you and transport you to the nearest river. From there, you’ll spend the evening in a nearby lodge, before cruising down the Caprivi Strip, which is home to a variety of different fishing grounds. As you work your way down this route, you’ll make regular stops at the lodges and campsites on the way, all included in the price of your trip.

Up to 16 guests are welcome to take part in this adventure. When fishing, you’ll be making use of 10’ ARK inflatable drift canoes, which add to the tranquil atmosphere, and will really help you feel at one with the local nature. Each canoe can accommodate up to 2 guests, and you’ll both be able to cast off and hook anything from Tigerfish, Grunter, and Spadefish, to Largemouth Bass, Carp, Brown Trout, and more.

As well as the incredible angling action on offer, you’ll also have the opportunity to take in the stunning local wildlife and scenery. You’ll get to explore different locations on the way to your destination, and even head out on a land-based safari. For more details about this, just talk to your guide beforehand.

Depending on when you embark on your trip, the lodges and campsites you’ll be staying in may differ, but all accommodation is included in the cost.
