Reel Irie Fishing Charters 

Booked a red snapper trip during first week of June. Started the trip off with live bait not biting at the bouys, but Capt Harold was prepared with frozen bait. Worked our way out to the reefs and didn’t get many bites except for a nice sized amberjack. Kept going deeper without much action before working our way back in. Finally got some small keeper snappers back at the reefs we started at. Despite not catching much, Capt. Harold kept the vibes up the entier trip. We booked a six hour trip but were on the water for eight hours. Will try to book again.

Capt Harold did a fantastic job putting us on fish today. He let us participate in sabiki fishing the live bait and didn't count that against our trip time. He was very generous with time on the water and patient with our younger fishermen. Would highly recommend Capt Harold for your next charter!

Captain Harold was extremely attentive and made sure our trip was a success! Our group had a mix of previous fishing experience, so it was great to rely on someone so knowledgeable of the area! We will definitely book again if we’re back in Pensacola!

Took my sons out on a charter with Captain Harold today, and it was an unforgettable experience. We were lucky enough to bag a beautiful 16-pound red snapper just before the season closed, along with a few other nice keepers. It was my sons’ first time on a fishing charter, and Harold was amazing with them—patient, knowledgeable, and made sure they felt comfortable and confident. He explained everything clearly and kept the trip fun and exciting from start to finish. This trip made some lasting memories for our family, and when I’m back in town, I’ll definitely be chartering with Harold again. Highly recommend!

Our trip with Capt. Harold was great from start to finish. The weather could not have been better. Little hot but what do you expect for June in Florida. Capt. Harold’s boat and gear were as advertised. We booked an 8 hr. trip and during the day there was never a dull moment. At times during the day the fish were not bitting but Capt. Harold worked very hard to make sure we found the fish. At the end of the day me and my son caught our limits and had a wonderful time. Without a doubt we will book again with Capt. Harold.

Capt Harold was fantastic with our group. Our trip was post-Helene by about 3 weeks so he warned us that the fishing might not be great. The day turned out a little choppier than predicted but he found us fish. Lots of fish. We caught our limit of red snapper but being a weekday, couldn't keep them but we also caught lots of others. Harold kept all 4 of us baited, fishing, and on fish all day. On the way in he took us by a local spot and introduced us to Half Tail or Scar, a bottle nosed dolphin missing half his tail, who comes up to the boat and lets us feed him. All in all, a great day with Capt Harold and next time we're back, we'll do it again. Thanks Capt!

Captain Harold was awesome and managed to get us in on a last minute charter after another group had canceled. We managed to catch a triggerfish, and our limit in red snapper within 45 minutes after getting out to the fishing spot! We might’ve had to fight a dolphin Fr them, but they didn’t manage to steal any. On the way back he even stopped for us as we passed back into the bay because the Blue Angels were practicing right above the boat! All in all one of the best charters we could’ve asked for.

Normally in previous experience a four hour trip ends up including travel time. Not in this case we departed at 1, returned at 6:30, spent almost an hour catching bait fish ( he also had other bait) and spent a solid 4 hours fishing off Pensacola Beach. Weather even cooperated. Highly recommend

Everything was perfect on our charter. Easy going, relaxing, caught several fish, saw many dolphins and had a great boat ride looking at Fort Pickens and the dunes. Harold was professional, knowledgeable and attentive to our fishing and baiting needs. The boat was clean and stocked with water and Ice. Harold cleaned our fish so we could take them home and cook them. Highly recommend this charter!!! Couldn't get any better!!! Will be back! So much FUN!!

I brought my son down to fish for his 30th birthday gift and choose Captain Harold and we were not disappointed. First day weather was great and we caught a bunch of fish, so many different species. Second day weather was a lot tougher but we still made it out and hooked up quite a few fish. Harolds stories and sense of humor was awesome and put us both at ease right away, he's a great teacher and helped us catch fish for sure. We will be looking forward to booking him again on our next trip to Pensacola. Thanks for a great couple of days and for helping two first timers have a great time catching some big fish.
