Back N’ Black 

The original day we planned had bad weather. The Capt worked with me on availability and we came at a later date. The Capt and mate are incredibly easy to deal with and great guys. the Capt let us know what they had been catching and we made a plan for the day. As they often do, plans can change, the Capt shifted and just lihe that we were on the fish. I had my family with me on this trip, some first timers and some seasoned fisherman. Everything was explained and made easy for all of us. If you go out with them, know and understand they will put you on the fish and you are gonna get tired from reeling!!! Couldn’t of asked for a better Capt and first mate! they work well together and the Captain nakes it his priority to get you on the fish! He delivered in a big way when my wife caught a White Marlin. We already made plans for future trips. We found our Captain and boat that we will always come back to! Bottom line… if you want to catch fish, have a great captain and first mate, be on a great boat, its a pretty easy choice who to book with!

We had a great trip with the crew of Back N’ Black. Captain Derek put us on the fish from the jump and first mate Stefan was outstanding. We started off hooking a Mahi Mahi almost immediately when we began fishing and quickly transitioned to a ton of Black Fin Tuna with a few Skipjacks. The sharks left us alone until late in the frenzy. We frequently had two tuna on the lines at the same time and had three once. After everyone was wore out from all the tuna, we headed out to find the tilefish. We started catching the tilefish as fast as the bait hit the bottom and quickly hit our limit in about 15 minutes. We also hooked some nice black bass. The weather was gorgeous with no wind and flat seas and the crew and fishing were even better. I am still not sure how first mate Stefan kept up with us. If you want a great boat and crew, I would highly recommend Back N’ Black.

We booked thi trip during my daughter's 2st birthday weekend vacation. Derek was always very communicative and shared helpful information leading up to the trip. We had two 10 year old boys with us as well, while there was a bit of seasickness since we're not used to the constant trolling experience, we still had a really good time! The boys did manage to pull in a large, beautiful Mahi, which we look forward to for 4th of July dinner! Stefan (hopefully spelled correctly) ws amazing with my son as well, he showed him he ropes of reeling, baiting, and casting the lines as well as letting him help work on the desk where safe, and he absolutely loved every bit of it, thank you for that experience! I wish they could take out more people so we could take a few other friends in the same charter as an annual trip! The one thing I would have enjoyed a little more would have been just bit more time bottom water fishing when the trolling was extremely slow so everyone could enjoy more time catching fish too, that was alot of fun as well! Overall, Derek an Stefan were amazing, and we did enjoy our trip, rain, choppiness, seasickness, and all! Oh, and Stefan....my husband said "keep your shirt on, he's jealous he's not in that shape anymore!" LOL 😂

Derek and Stefan were friendly and knowledgeable. They did a great job getting us on the fish. We caught 2 wahoo and some mahi. we had a couple folks get sea sick from the chop but Stefan did his best to help them cope. Ultimately everyone is really happy with the trip.

A slow start to the day and what seemed like for most if not all the marina. Derek masterfully read all conditions and brought us to hot zones where we were catching Mahi, Wahoo, SkipJack and for fun… monster amber jack. great time on the boat, amazing first mate too- stefen had alot of on the spot tips and brought the excitement when we needed it most. will be booking agin 1000%.
