Queste acque sono famose per Lampuga (Mahi Mahi), Cobia, Ricciola, Cernia, Cavalla, Red Snapper, Pesce spada, Tonno pinna gialla, Wahoo, Spanish mackerel, Cobia e altro ancora – con un po' di fortuna, ne aggancerai alcuni! Durante l'uscita di pesca, potresti praticare light tackle, popping, traina, pesca alla deriva, jigging, pesca a fondo, o forse qualcosa di più specializzato in questa zona. Il pesce catturato durante l'uscita è tuo da portare a casa, purché rientri nei limiti legali. L'equipaggio può anche pulire il pescato per te. Tieni pronto un frigorifero in macchina!
La tua imbarcazione per la giornata è un Center console da 30' con spazio per 6 passeggeri. È dotata di tutto il necessario per una giornata produttiva in acqua. C'è una toilette a bordo per la tua comodità. Il tuo capitano fornirà canne e mulinelli, oltre alle esche artificiali. L'esca viva è inclusa, ma dovresti chiedere al capitano se la catturerai tu stesso.
Le uscite di pesca sono condotte con l'aiuto di un secondo. I secondi spesso lavorano per le mance, ed è consuetudine offrire loro una mancia del 10-20%. La tua licenza di pesca per la giornata è coperta dal charter, quindi tutto ciò che devi fare è attendere con impazienza la tua uscita! Tieni presente che alcuni pesci potrebbero avere limiti di cattura o stagioni di chiusura. Il tuo capitano ti aiuterà a seguire le normative mentre peschi.
I bambini sono i benvenuti, quindi porta pure tutta la famiglia! Se non hai un giubbotto di salvataggio per bambini, assicurati di chiedere se ce n'è uno a bordo. Non dimenticare di portare snack, bevande, un cappello, occhiali da sole e crema solare (non spray). L'alcol è consentito con moderazione, ma cerca di evitare i superalcolici e le bottiglie di vetro.

If you’re looking for a fishing charter that actually delivers results, Bottomed Out Charters with Captain Ken is the one to book. While other boats were coming back empty-handed, Captain Ken consistently put us on fish—it was clear he knew exactly what he was doing.
What really stood out, beyond the great catch, was Captain Ken himself. He’s an incredibly nice, down-to-earth guy who makes the whole experience enjoyable from start to finish. His extensive knowledge of fishing is obvious in the way he reads the water, adjusts tactics, and helps everyone on board feel confident and involved.
Whether you’re experienced or brand new to fishing, you’ll appreciate his patience and expertise. It’s not just about catching fish—it’s about having a great time doing it, and Captain Ken absolutely delivers on both.

We had an absolutely amazing experience on our fishing charter out of Gulf Shores! From the moment we left the dock, you could tell our captain really knew his stuff—super knowledgeable, friendly, and made the whole trip feel effortless and fun.
He put us right on the fish, and we were catching in no time! Whether you’re experienced or brand new, he makes sure everyone is comfortable, confident, and having a great time. The boat was clean, well-equipped, and everything was handled professionally.
What really stood out was how much the captain genuinely cared about making sure we had the best experience possible. It never felt rushed, and he was patient, helpful, and full of great tips.
Hands down one of the best experiences we’ve had in Gulf Shores—we’ll 100% be booking again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a fun, successful day on the water! 🎣

We had a fantastic time with Captain Ken and Captain Jay! We had fish hitting the second we put hooks in the water. They took us out to a great spot and they showed a bunch of first-timers how to catch fish. i highly recommend these guys. He reached out to us and kept contact with us in the days leading up to our trip. They made it easy and fun. We can't thank them enough for a great trip.

Ken and Jay were fantastic. We brought our kids to get them excited about offshore fishing. I told them I didn’t care what we fished for just looking for numbers to get the kids into it. They did such a good job helping the kids and keeping them engaged and excited. Will for sure be booking another trip with them
