Il Tarpon, Tarpon atlantico, chiamato anche Silver King, è uno dei pesci sportivi più ricercati al mondo. Questi pesci sono tra i migliori combattenti che i pescatori abbiano mai incontrato utilizzando light tackle.

La Florida centrale offre un'ampia selezione di due diversi charter di pesca al tarpon nella zona e questa è la pesca al tarpon più vicina a Orlando che troverai. Qui peschiamo i grandi tarpon durante i mesi più caldi, dalla primavera all'autunno, lungo le spiagge, appena fuori dai canali di marea.

La pesca al tarpon nelle acque interne si svolge sulla Mosquito Lagoon e sull'Indian River sulle piane a New Smyrna Beach, Daytona Beach, Ponce Inlet, Port Canaveral e Cocoa Beach. Questo normalmente da maggio a ottobre.

Tipicamente da maggio a novembre, con maggio, giugno, luglio, agosto, settembre e ottobre che rappresentano il periodo migliore per i grandi tarpon di spiaggia, costieri e delle acque interne.

Tuttavia, i tarpon più piccoli si possono trovare in tutta l'area tutto l'anno nelle acque più remote dell'Indian River, Halifax River, Banana River, Sebastian Inlet e della Mosquito Lagoon. Questi pesci pesano circa 5-20 libbre, perfetti per applicazioni light tackle sia con spinning che a mosca.

If you are looking for an inshore trip around Orlando, Captain Drew is your guy. My girlfriend and I joined him at New Smyrna beach at the crack of dawn and had an awesome time. My girlfriend has been fishing a handful of times, and Drew made her feel confident and comfortable out on this trip. He is one funny dude to boot! Boat had plenty of room, live bait and everything we needed provided. Caught a number of different species after checking out some different spots. It was an incredible time and we’re very glad to have gone out with Captain Drew.

Capt. Drew has been by far eh best tarpon fishing guide i have been with in my lifetime. This is our 4th time with him and as always spot on! Not only does he know his tarpon fishing but knows the ins and outs of getting to this level. You can tell he has put years into this. If you want the very best the Drew is your Guide.

Been tarpon fishing several times across the globe and fishing with Drew the other day was one of the better ones. If you are wanting a guide who not only knows what he is doing but actually follows through, then book Captain Drew. Highly recommended.

I booked a reunion type of fishing trip with friends and we choose Drew's tarpon trip to do. We never caught them so it was fun, most definitely unique fishing. We saw how they were some of the most sought after fish on earth. We will be back again.
