Le specie locali includono Bluefin tuna, Tonno pinna gialla, Passera, Merluzzo nordico, Eglefino, Striped bass, Lampuga (Mahi Mahi), Black sea bass e molto altro ancora, con un po' di fortuna.
Mirerai alla tua cattura con spinning, popping, traina, pesca alla deriva, jigging, pesca a fondo, o forse qualcosa di più specializzato in questa zona.
Stai pianificando un'avventura in famiglia? I bambini sono assolutamente i benvenuti! Assicurati di chiedere se sono disponibili giubbotti di salvataggio per bambini, altrimenti dovresti portare i tuoi. E non puoi sbagliare con gli snack in modo che nessuno diventi irritabile a stomaco vuoto!
La tua imbarcazione per la giornata è una Pilothouse da 25' che può ospitare fino a 6 passeggeri. È un'imbarcazione ispezionata dalla USCG e trasporta una zattera di salvataggio e tute di sopravvivenza oltre a tutte le altre attrezzature di sicurezza richieste. È dotata di tutto il necessario per una giornata produttiva in acqua. Anche se il capitano è autorizzato per un massimo di sei passeggeri, a causa dello spazio limitato a bordo è più comodo pescare con 1-4 pescatori. C'è un bagno a bordo per la tua comodità.
Il Capitano John ha canne e mulinelli per te, così come esche artificiali. L'esca viva è inclusa, ma assicurati di chiedere informazioni in modo da sapere se la catturerai tu stesso.
Non c'è bisogno di acquistare una licenza di pesca, quindi puoi guidare direttamente e salire a bordo senza alcun problema! Tieni presente che alcuni pesci potrebbero avere limiti di cattura o stagioni di chiusura. Basta chiedere e il tuo capitano potrà dirti di più.
È sempre saggio portare occhiali da sole, un cappello, crema solare (non spray) e acqua in bottiglia. Se desideri portare altre bevande, chiedi pure. L'alcol è consentito con moderazione, ma cerca di evitare i superalcolici così come le bottiglie di vetro.

What a fun charter!!

Our family of 5 booked a fishing charter with Captain John and he was WONDERFUL!! He was very patient and kind and incredibly helpful with our kids. The charter before ours had ran into some issues at the end of their trip, resulting in our trip starting about a half hour late and Captain John made sure we still got that half hour out on the water. He was so knowledgeable about all things fishing and Cape Cod/Martha's Vineyard. He taught us so many facts and stories about the Cape and all the fish on it. We had a great time~ Thanks Captain John!!! Hope you can get your bigger boat! ;)

Fishing Vineyard Sound in mid August doesnt always produce great fishing results, but when you have a Captain like John, it produces great memories. John did help us find a few bluefish and just for fun some fluke and sea bass. We were certainly on top of schools of Bonito which was our primary objective, but our inexperience attributed to quite a few missed opportunities. Regardless John stuck with us and helped produce a banner day. Highly recommend his services.

Great Day out on the water with Captain John. With 3 kids on board, I told Captain John our main focus was catching fish. Captain John and put us on the fish early as soon as the action slowed down, we would move to a new spot not far away. Continuous action to keep the kids engaged. We caught several sea bass including a few keepers as well as some dogfish sharks which were super fun to reel in.

This was our first time in the cape. We booked a half day charter with our three young boys. Captain John was extremely patient and made sure we were on fish. We had a blast and will definitely use him again when we are in the area!
