Slow day, but good equipment, focused crew and great bait

5 Hour Trip – Coast Fishing il July 12, 2025 • 5 adulti

We picked this charter as it was a combo trip for three generation of family and some people wanted to fish, some wanted to sun tan and others just wanted to relax on the ocean. There is plenty of space on this boat and it's a relatively comfortable way to fish. 

Fishing was super slow, but not because the crew wasn't working hard. We had good gear, the best live bait around (blue runners)  and we fished great spots. The bite was just not on today and that's life. 

I recommend this charter for anyone with a mixed group of passengers where some people just want to chill and others want to fish.

Perfect balance for our family!

5 Hour Trip – Fishing And Beach il March 17, 2026 • 4 adulti • 2 bambini

Had a wonderful time on the Sentiment with my family of 6.  Unfortunately we only had 2 bites/false alarms over the course of 4 hours of trying. It’s called fishing, not catching.   Captain Charlie and First Mate Nathan tried and tried with different lures, live bait and locations, the fish just didn’t want to bite which really stinks.  The highlight was for sure the crew and ability to go to a private secluded beach.  My girls further beach/boat day,  I still owe my son some fish.

Our family of four loved this trip!  The crew were amazing and made sure everyone had a great time (including two of us who aren’t really excited about fishing).  We caught one medium fish that was fileted and served to us as sashimi - SO good.  We also caught a huge 40lb rooster fish. You won’t regret booking this trip.

We had a great time fishing and relaxing. Great views, great crew and a fun boat. The crew cut up one of our fish for lunch and filleted the rest for take home.
