Fishing in Astypalaia is a once-in-a-lifetime experience due to the unique landscapes, the crystal clear deep sea water of the South Aegean Sea, and all the fish species. Captains Nikitas and Dimitris have years of experience in boating and fishing the Aegean Sea.

You will fish from a 28' Carolina Classic saltwater fishing boat powered by twin 230 HP Volvo Penta engines, with a maximum cruising speed of 20 knots. This speed means you will get to the fishing grounds fast and use most of your trip for fishing. The vessel is fully equipped with the necessary electronics and safety gear, and features a cabin, a toilet, an outside shower, a sound system, and a fridge with an ice maker.

The crew will take you fishing for a variety of species found in these abundant waters. If you travel to Syrna Island you can target Bream, Gilthead, and Barracuda. If you choose to go to Kounoupa Island your targeted fish will be Grouper, Snapper, Bigeye Tuna, and Albacore.

Overnight trips to Syrna Island include fishing, meals, a dinner made fresh out of your day's catch, and accommodation. You can choose to sleep on the boat or in the island house. The boat sleeps up to 4 persons, and the house sleeps up to 9 persons. The crew will provide you with a fishing license, live baits, snacks, drinks, and you will have a first mate on board to help you reel in the fish.

Captains Nikitas and Dimitris run child-friendly charters where every guest will be catered for. Astypalaia Sea Cruises includes pick-up from your hotel or rented accommodation to the dock. You can rent the fishing equipment at 15 EUR per rod and reel combo.
