Juneau Adventures ti invita a trascorrere una giornata con il Capitano Terry White esplorando e pescando nelle acque del Sud-Est dell'Alaska. Il Capitano Terry pesca e osserva le balene qui da 42 anni ed è in grado di fornire conoscenze inestimabili e racconti di grandi pesci e balene della zona.
La stagione di Juneau inizia il 1° maggio e dura fino a metà settembre, portando Halibut, Salmone Coho, Salmone Chinook e Salmone Chum, oltre a Rockfish. Il Capitano Terry fornisce tutta l'attrezzatura da pesca necessaria per insidiare i pesci, incluse canne, mulinelli, attrezzatura e esche artificiali.
La pesca si svolge a bordo del Dano, un catamarano Armstrong di 32 piedi veloce e stabile. Costruito nel 2008, ha una capacità fino a sei ospiti che potranno godere dell'ampio ponte walkaround e della cabina riscaldata. Alimentata da due motori fuoribordo Suzuki da 300 HP, questa barca è molto efficiente.
L'imbarcazione dispone di tutti gli extra necessari per un'uscita produttiva come downrigger elettrici per la traina, una ghiacciaia per il pescato, un GPS e un ecoscandaglio per localizzare i migliori spot di pesca, e altro ancora. C'è una cabina chiusa con due letti, un bagno a bordo e un angolo cottura.
Juneau Adventures offre charter di 4, 6 e 8 ore per Salmone o Halibut, oltre a uscite Combo di 6 e 8 ore sia per Salmone che per Halibut. Tutti i charter includono snack, bibite analcoliche e acqua, e nei charter di 6 e 8 ore avrete anche il pranzo!

Fantastic Salmon Fishing Trip worth every Penny!

Captain Terry stayed in communication, arrived timely, was very knowledgeable of the area and even provided refreshments that we enjoyed! Deck hand Owen was a fantastic young man! We are novice fishers and he made sure we were well cared for the entire trip! Owen was extremely hardworking and respectful. Owen is a Juneau Derby Scholarship recipient which was quite impressive! When we arrived without fishing licenses and they quickly walked us through the entire process to get one on line without making a big deal of our oversight. All three of us caught large salmon which Owen promptly prepped for shipping home and Captain Terry handled everything else to get them shipped home. We got a bonus whale watching opportunity when 3 large hump back whales gently emerged causally gliding by boat closer than any whale watching tours that we have done and we have done numerous over the years. Other than the typical Juneau rain drizzle the trip was perfect! Highly recommend Captain Terry and Deckhand Owen!

We had an excellent fishing trip in Juneau with Captain Terry and Owen. They were very knowledgeable, professional, and very helpful in helping us to enjoy our fishing excursion. If you're a family of five with three young boys who are still talking about their fishing trip today. They each caught fish, which we are having shipped home, but we also got an amazing whale watch out of the trip. We had an overall amazing experience and highly recommended to everyone looking to fish in Juneau.

The fishing was great and the boat hands were very experienced. I tried to contact the captain twice (a few months before the trip, and about 10 days before the trip) and got no response. He did contact me the day before and asked if I needed transfer to and from the harbor. I had already set up transportation because he had not contacted me when I tried to get ahold of him before. In addition we did not go out on the Dano which is advertised but a smaller boat that only 5 of us were able to fish at a time, not all 6. The fishing was good and we all caught halibut. I would not book this again due to the lack of response from the captain and no notification that we would be going on a different boat than advertised.

I booked this trip for my husband and friends, they had the best time. They all came back with huge smiles, all 5 of them caught fish and said the captain and crew members were amazing!
