    An Amazing Experience!!!

We had the most EPIC experience with Hooked Again fishing charters. Family of 6 and EVERYONE enjoyed it. The fishing experience was really fun, but the hospitality of the Captain and his crew just did it for us. We are already planning our next charter with them. Thank you guys....SO much fun !!!

    (3/4 Day Trip)

So much fun, we extended 2 hrs

Very knowledgeable and friendly. They made fishing fun and convenient. My two young boys (sons) had so much fun catching we decided to add two more hours to the trip and they were able to accommodate us. They also cleaned out all the catches for us.

Javelin Grunter is a popular inshore sport fish prized for its clean fight and tasty fillets. Also known as Barred Javelin or Grunter Bream, it thrives in estuaries, bays, and mangrove-lined creeks. Anglers target it for steady action, simple tactics, and great meals after a successful day.

Most Javelin Grunter fishing happens inshore over sandy or muddy bottom. Light tackle keeps the fight fun and lets the bait move naturally. Bottom fishing with prawns, squid, or small mullet works well. Spinning small soft plastics and vibes also draws strikes. Fly fishing with shrimp patterns can shine on calm flats.

Expect a relaxed, hands-on trip with bites around tide changes and at dawn or dusk. This is a great target for first-time anglers and kids, yet it still rewards skilled presentation. Bring sun protection, polarized sunglasses, and a hat for sighting fish and reading water. A sensitive rod, light leader, and a tidy bait supply help you hook more fish. Handle fish gently and watch the sharp gill area when landing your catch.

Before your Javelin Grunter fishing trip, check local rules. You may need a fishing license or permit. Seasons, areas, and harvest limits can change. Know the current size and bag rules and any gear restrictions. When in doubt, ask your captain and follow best catch-and-release practices.
