2 Hour Sunset Cruise • 2 adultiMy 13 year old loves to fish and has really taken a love to it.. I booked Joey while driving to Florida and by mistake booked a sunset cruise. Joey responded to my booking making sure this was what we wanted. After Joey learned I was looking to have my 13 year old fish he immediately began to make arrangements to get us out fishing. He actually arranged through his very understanding wife to have us come out on Easter Sunday (he did get his family church time in first). I told Joey I felt very bad he had made arrangements to accommodate our trip. Joey didn’t skip a beat and was only concerned that my 13 year old caught fish and many and many different species. I’m from Ontario Canada and have been on many charters and Joey is by far the best I have ever experienced knowledgeable, accommodating and very professional..Thx for giving my 13 year old and myself an unforgettable experience. From the moment we launched the boat to the final cast, Capt Joey's passion for fishing was evident. He effortlessly navigated us to prime fishing spots where big fish were just waiting to bite our lines. Not only can he put you on fish but we felt safe, he uses top of the line equipment. He was instructional and shared his knowledge from years on the sea. I cannot recommend Joey enough for anyone looking to embark on a fishing excursion. Whether you’re a seasoned angler or a beginner, you're guaranteed an unforgettable day on the water. I can't wait to book another adventure soon!

Uscita di 4 ore — CostieroCapt Joey is top notch! Not only was his boat pristine and equipment excellent, his knowledge of the waters of the Gulf of Mexico was impressive. We immediately started catching fish as soon as our lines hit the water. We caught nearly 100 fish and 10 different species! We were able to keep enough fish (which Capt Joey cleaned for us upon our arrival) for each of us to go home with fish for 4-6 people to eat. He even went above and beyond to come back to the boat ramp when I discovered I left my package of fish in the cooler He insisted I take it home and spent an additional 30 mins driving back to meet me. I highly recommend Capt Joey for your next fishing charter!

We are so grateful that he was so accommodating and we ended up having a wonderful fishing day with him! We caught a lot of fish and he was so knowledgeable of all the locations to catch as well as hard working! He was constantly making sure we all had bait and showing us how to set our lines up for the best outcome! We all caught fish and came home with dinner! Captain Joey is a winner!!!

Uscita di 4 ore — Costiero • 2 adultiDue to a family emergency, the other captain that my 15 yr old son and I were fishing with they had to cancel our trip after an hour on the water. I wasnt able to reach out and look for another captain till 9pm that evening. This is were Captain Joey got my late evening message and responded that he would take us out and the following morning. We caught 12 different species and over 100 fish. Overall an excellent experience and a wonderful Captain. Very knowledgeable. Thanks Captain Joey Josh & Carter

Finalmente si respira un po' meglio e con le temperature dell'acqua più basse arrivano le Cavalle e gli Spanish mackerel nella loro migrazione verso sud. I pesci esca invadono le acque locali con i Redfish e altri predatori alle loro calcagna. La pesca è fantastica!

Hogfish Havoc: A 8-Hour Nearshore Trip

Our 8-hour nearshore quest for hogfish transformed into an adrenaline-pumping adventure! Navigating through the usual suspects – grunt, porgy, lane snapper, and a colorful parade of other species – we had no inkling that the real showstoppers were preparing to steal the spotlight. Enter two behemoth alphamale hogfish, enticed by our secret bait.
The excitement reached high levels when the first client, initially thinking he was snagged to the ocean floor by sheer weight, suddenly discovered a HUGE opponent on the line. Reels cranked, and pandemonium ensued! Cheers erupted, and truth be told, I couldn't contain my own excitement. This hogfish put up a battle for the ages, etching a day in our memories. But the surprises weren't over yet—a second hog took the bait! Like the first, it was a struggle to reel it in, but sure enough, we landed another colossal HOG on light tackle!
In the end, our clients departed with more than just memories—they carried home perfectly white meat fillets of hogfish and many other species. It was a fantastic journey full of surprises, laughter, and the sweet taste of victory. Here's to the next adventure on the water!

Limit on Red Grouper!

We started early morning Saturday 2/10/24 for our 10 hour adventure. It was a great/smooth ride out, and we ran into a pack of 20 or so spinner dolphins several miles out which was very cool! The bite started off slow, lots of small red grouper. However, in time we worked through the smaller fish and the bigger ones arrived. We bounced around to a few different spots and had our limit in 4 hours of fishing. We then moved to a shallower spot for mangrove snapper / hogfish and right off the bat we hooked up. We caught several snapper and 1 great hogfish. We began free lining for snapper and "boom", we had a huge hit! This was on a size 4000 reel, with 15 lb test so it was a heck of a fight. After about 20 minutes of running out, back in, under the boat and around a line, we were finally able to land a huge bonito... And it was foul hooked so the fellow who reeled it in was whooped to say the least. We continued to catch lots of grunts, lane snapper, small gags, small red grouper, a couple scamp, porgy, and a then a 34 inch gag right as we were getting ready to call it a day. We safely released it with our Seaqualizer so it can continue to grow and build the population for future generations. Overall, it was a fantastic day and each gentleman had LOTS of fish to bring back to their families.
