Mark was introduced to the art of fishing by his father, who was a captain himself. Mark enjoys being on the water and teaching his clients and younger anglers how to fish. He also enjoys hunting.

He got us on the fish and we were more successful than the other charters around us. Experience pays off! It was our first time chartering the Great Lakes and made my 11 year old son’s year hauling in the salmon and trout, all of which were the biggest fish we’d ever caught. Thank you so much for the great trip, the memories and the fantastic fishing! My daughter is already begging to go out next time!

We had an amazing time and caught plenty of fish, even with the challenging weather. Captain Mark was polite, kind, and full of good humor. He was always there to help, cleaned and packed our fish for us, and made sure we had everything we needed. Huge thanks to him!

Half Day Trip (PM) - Lake Michigan • 4 adultiOur trip was a 60th birthday present for my dad. Upon original booking of the trip Mark was considerate to call me and give advice on when to book to have a better possibility of great weather and more fish. Mark and Bill were so personable during the trip. Mark’s excitement when a fish was on really made the whole experience fun and enjoyable. My family and I had a fantastic experience and caught a ton of fish. I would absolutely recommend booking with Cast-A-Way Charters.
