As a young man I developed a deep connection with the ocean which led me to a career in the US Coast Guard. After leaving the service, I followed my dreams to become a captain and a guide to help others experience the wonders of the sea. I have a deep respect for the ocean and I strive to provide a safe and fun time while fishing with my clients. During my time as a captain, I have had the pleasure of guiding in both Alaska and Hawaii. My 14 years of experience fishing in the waters of Kodiak and Homer, Alaska have fueled my dedication to the charter fishing business. I am also an avid sailor and love my time out on the ocean. The thrill of the catch and the beauty of the ocean drive me to continue working as a captain and a fishing guide.

Uscita di 8 ore – Multi Specie • 4 adultiWe had a fantastic experience on this fishing charter. The guide was incredibly accommodating, personable, and clearly knew where to find the fish. Even though it was the beginning of the season, we landed several king salmon, along with some huge rockfish and halibut. He clearly knew where the fish were because I was even able to get 2 fish on the same cast and caught a rare white king! Beyond the fishing, he shared great sightseeing tips and interesting information about the surrounding communities, which added a lot to the overall experience. The deckhand was funny, helpful, and a great resource throughout the trip. Their knowledge, professionalism, and friendly attitudes made for a memorable day on the water. Highly recommend!

Uscita di 8 ore – Halibut condivisa100% RECOMMEND THIS CHARTER!!! If you have any doubts — don’t!!!!! Just try it! It was honestly the highlight of our entire trip!!!!!! I originally booked it as a birthday present for my husband, but I ended up having an absolute blast myself as well. Captain Jeff is such an awesome guy - super knowledgeable, friendly, funny, and just genuinely fun to spend the day with. He took us to all his secret spots for halibut, greenling, and cod, helped with everything, and somehow made the whole experience feel easy for beginners like me while making it equally exciting for my husband, who’s an experienced angler and wanted to go after bigger fish. I caught the biggest fish of my life (a cod!), and while we were taking photos, some people walking by even said the halibut my husband caught was the biggest they’d seen all day! What made it even cooler was all the extra stuff - he showed us Otter Rock, puffins, and told us so many interesting wildlife and history stories from his museum background. On the way back we stopped in Seldovia, had AMAZING clam chowder, and did a short the most beautiful hike. The whole day was just one of those experiences you remember forever. THANK YOU CAPTAIN JEFF!!! P.S. If you’re like me and spent forever reading all the reviews and trying to figure out which trip to book - THIS is your trip!!! Sincere recommendation.

We had our trip cancel due to some unfortunate circumstances, hope all goes well there, they helped us find Cap Jeff who had just had a last min opportunity open up. We had a great trip. Jeff and Colton were great to work with. Very helpful and super kind. We limited out in 3 hours, even after turning many back to make sure we got he best we could. Got some Cod a long the way and even a black bass. Just to add to the experience we have a whale come hang out for a while. Would definitely recommend Cap Jeff. Thanks for the great day Jeff and Colton.

Uscita di 8 ore – Traina al Salmone • 2 adultiWe were blessed with beautiful weather and a great captain. Jeff truly delivered on our hopes of catching limits of Salmon. King, Silvers and Pinks! We didn’t quite get our limts but it was not for the lack of trying by Jeff. He knows the area, and the best fishing spots. I will definitely be using Jeff again in the future.
