Captain Brad D'Alfonso grew up fishing the Louisiana marsh, sharing weekly phone calls for fishing plans and tactics with his dad and uncle to maximize their weekend fishing adventure. 'We fished old school, no GPS and no trolling motor, but it taught us a lot.' Captain Brad's love for fishing grew onto his own children and watching their eagerness and excitement, he decided to start guiding to share and teach others about the beautiful Louisiana fishing estuaries. 'I always wanted fishing to be more than just a hobby or pastime, I love the wow effect the Louisiana marsh and fisheries have on our customers.'

Captain Brad is the man

First time out on the water in Louisiana and we had an absolute blast. Captain Brad was awesome. He was very knowledgeable about the local area and clearly very passionate about what he does. We caught a variety of species, including a really nice redfish. Captain Brad cleaned all our fish for us and was an absolute pleasure to be around. He was very professional and did his best to put us on the fish at all times. I learned a lot out there and can’t wait to come back.

Captain Brad is the man! I came from out of town during a historic chill, very low temps and very low water level. Captain Brad was very flexible and woke up extra early to make sure it was safe to go out on the boat. It felt like a gamble, but it paid off! We found lots of red fish and had a great full day catching and chatting. Brad taught me a lot about how the tides work and what to look for. Patient and friendly, I highly recommend Captain Brad for your NOLA fishing trip!

I appreciate the acknowledgement on the gamble because it sure was with the crazy low water levels, but you stuck with me and nailed them(Mother Nature knew it was your birthday) LOL!! Fun day of trying a new way to fish

I had a fun/chill day with Captain Brad. I like fly fishing, so this was a new experience for me and I had a blast. Learned some new techniques and caught species of fish I haven't before. Captain Brad drove all over to get me on fish. PSA don't be stupid like me and not wear sunscreen!

Matt, thank you for the awesome review!! I'm glad you were able to try a different style of fishing and have a great time doing it. We had a fantastic day fishing with Captain Brad. Booking was easy, boat was clean/set up well and Brad was fun to spend the day with. We caught 6 different types of fish in multiple spots. We will definitely fish with Speck Dat again the next time we are in LA. Thanks for a really fun day!!

We had a wonderful time on our fishing trip. Captain Brad was very knowledgeable and help. He took us a few different spots and we were able to catch a variety of fish. He gave us some tips and tricks to start wheeling them in. Will definitely book again!
