He's always had a passion for fishing and the water and decided to become a captain to try and show the general public the same experiences that he's had all these years. Fishing is like no other sport out there. Every day is a new adventure and a new challenge. This is what keeps the captain coming back for more.

He was knowledgeable, friendly, patient, and made the whole experience so much fun. He was great with the kids also and taught them how to hook the bait and prepare the knots and lines. We caught a lot of fish and had such a great time out on the water. Captain Danny knew exactly where to take us and was always there to help and make sure we were having a great experience. He made everything easy and enjoyable, and we really appreciated how attentive he was throughout the trip. It was a wonderful experience and a great day spent together. We highly recommend Hammertime Fishing Charter and Captain Danny Avila. We will definitely be back!

Uscita di 3 ore – Barriera corallina profonda • 3 adultiMy two teenage boys and I went out with Captain Danny on Saturday morning charter. Overall we had a great time and experienced some phenomenal fishing. Captain Danny is a true professional and I could not imagine a better captain in South Florida. He is an expert on this fishery and his life long experience on the water shows. In addition to being a terrific captain, he is a great teacher. My boys and I have been out on plenty of other charters, but we learned more from Danny than we ever had on other boats. So in addition to catching a ton of fish (which included at least 20 tuna, Spanish mackerel, Bonita, snapper in a half day), we learned a ton and will make use of these skills on future fishing adventures. Lastly, Danny is a great guy and just a cool guy to hang out with and fish with. In conclusion, I would highly recommend Danny and Hammertime fishing when fishing in the Miami area. Needless to say I now understand why Danny has a ton of repeat customers. We will be back too!!!

Fall Fishing Season Recap

We’ve had a great fall fishing season with some very nice catches! Weve been targeting Mutton Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, Yellow Jacks, King, Spanish, and Cero Mackerel. Fall Fishing is Finally Here!!!

Its mid September and as we say good-bye to the dog days of Summer, we welcome the transition into our Fall season here in South Florida. With the change in season, it brings a bunch of new opportunity and probably some of the best fishing you could ask for! We have the arrival of our fall baitfish schools, which really opens up our options on what we can target. We have great fishing offshore with Mahi, Tuna, Kingfish, and more. The reef bite continues to stay strong with tasty catches of Yellowtail Snapper and Mutton Snapper. And the nearshore fishing becomes an option when the fronts start pushing through with tons of action on mangrove snapper, mutton snapper, porgies, and yellow jacks. Biscayne Bay on Fire!

Last week we had a great trip out on Biscayne bay. Tons or action and non stop rod bending with some mangrove Snapper, mutton snapper, yellowtail snapper, porgies, and some yellow jacks! Fish were fired up on the live bait. This is a great time of the year for this fishery. Don’t delay book today.
