  Great Family Fishing Trip with Captain Dave!

  We had a fantastic time fishing with Captain Dave and SoFlo! It was me, my wife, and our two young daughters, and Dave did a great job making the trip fun and memorable for the whole family. One thing that really stood out was that we were catching fish when a lot of the other boats around us weren’t for the most part. we know this because they radio eachbother. When the trolling bite eventually slowed down, Captain Dave didn’t just keep dragging lines around hoping for something to happen. He changed things up and took us to another spot where the girls were able to catch some smaller fish almost immediately, which gave them plenty of action and kept them excited. He also took us to a spot where the girls could hand-feed some large fish, and they absolutely loved it. That was an unexpected bonus and one of the things they’ll probably remember most from the trip. Captain Dave clearly knows the area, knows how to find fish, and understands how to make a fishing trip enjoyable for families with young kids. We came away with some fish, some great pictures, and most importantly, a really memorable family experience. We would definitely fish with SoFlo Sport Fishing and Captain Dave again!

  If you are looking for an incredible day on the water with a crew that truly goes above and beyond, look no further than SoFlo Sport Fishing. From the moment we stepped on the boat, the captain and first mate were professional, easy-going, and extremely informative. We headed out into some really challenging ocean swells, but their expertise made us feel completely safe and comfortable the entire time. The fishing was phenomenal—we managed to land a tuna, a king mackerel, and a sailfish! It was an absolute thrill. What truly set this experience apart, however, was the crew’s compassion and attentiveness. I deal with health challenges that make me prone to overheating; despite my planning, the heat became overwhelming. The captain and mate were "on it" immediately. They were incredibly kind, patient, and helpful while I recovered. They even offered to take us inland to escape the swells so we could continue our excursion in calmer waters. To top it off, they gave us a fantastic informative tour of the area while we cooled down. To end the perfect day, they recommended a local place that cooked up our fresh catch for us—and man, it was phenomenal! Their willingness to adapt the trip to ensure my well-being meant the world to us. We had such a great time, and I would recommend them to anyone. I will happily rebook with this captain again in the future!

  Amazing Trip

  We had an amazing time on this fishing trip! Even catching the bait fish was a blast and kept us entertained the whole time. We were lucky enough to land a 7-foot Golden Dusky shark, which was definitely the highlight of the trip. The entire crew was fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to help. They made the experience enjoyable from start to finish and worked hard to put us on fish. Whether you’re an experienced angler or just looking for a fun day on the water, I highly recommend this charter. We can’t wait to come back and do it again!

  My family and I tried sea fishing for the very first time, and we absolutely loved the entire experience! From the very beginning, the communication was excellent, making the trip easy to plan and stress-free.The captain and crew were fantastic, the boat was great and the overall experience was outstanding.   Excellent Fishing Adventure

  Chartered a private 4 hour AM fishing adventure with Captain Dave and 1st Mate Nick on 5/5. 6 very satisfied customers caught 9 fish of black fin tuna, king fish, and bonita. After returning to dock, Nick cleaned and filleted all the fish and recommended that we take the fish to a nearby seafood restaurant, the Raw Bar, where they cooked our fish based on how we wanted it prepared. I highly recommend Captain Dave and Nick for your next fishing experience.
