Captain Herman Fleishman has been an avid fisherman since he was 12 years old. He started running this fishing charter in 2014 but he also used to guide when he was a younger man in Alaska in the 1980s. Not only does he love taking you out, but he also loves to teach you the successful methods that he's been using for decades. His passion for teaching runs beyond his charter as he is a member of a few fishing organizations that aim to enhance fishing for future generations.

    second trip!!

    It was my second trip with Captain Herman. The first trip went so well that this time I brought 3 family members. We got to the fishing grounds a little late due to a misunderstanding on my part. Because of this many boats were already fishing when we arrived. Despite this, even after catch and releasing several smaller but legal fish, we limited out and were headed back before most of the boats out there, even with the same amount or less fisherman as us. Same fishing grounds with better results tells me Captain Herman is doing something right!!

    signed up spur of the moment the night before and next thung i know im ln a trophy coho then next morning. Herman was the man. came with with 2 keepers, Great experience would definitely go again!!!

    Cpt Herman was very knowledgeable and experienced. With lots of stories to tell and go over the basics of fishing with a charter. Everybody caught limits for the day. Would highly recommend!

    Herman was great. We had a great time fishing and got to tag 2 each. Would recomend while he is still in the game. 🎣

    We had a great time with Herman fishing out on the ocean. Fish in the boat within 10 minutes or so from dropping our lines. We caught some nice coho and limited out quickly. Herman was friendly and knowledgeable and made it a fun day fishing!

L'autunno è tutto incentrato sui grandi Salmone reale e Salmone argentato. Questo è uno dei periodi migliori per la pesca d'altura. I pescatori stanno ancora recuperando Tonno al largo e la pesca a fondo è buona come sempre.

Hot Coho Bite with a Few Kings Too !

The bite was red hot in the ocean for Coho and we managed a couple of Kings too. The Chinook are entering the river daily with good hatchery numbers.

Kings push onto Buoy 10 ! Fresh bait and spinners are consistently working on these fresh fish ! Good ratio of hatchery Chinook !

Good Chinook Bite; Coho Expected

The Chinook are showing in good numbers. The Coho ate expected any day. Fishing has been good ! Ocean has calmed down and should produce a mix of Coho and Chinook!
