  Our Son’s Favorite Moment of the Entire USA Trip

  During our family vacation in Florida for the FIFA World Cup, this fishing trip with Captain Gabe became the absolute highlight of the trip for my older son. While I came to the USA for football, my son came home talking only about deep sea fishing! We decided very spontaneously to book a nearshore/inshore/offshore fishing trip and were incredibly happy that Captain Gabe could still fit us in. The boat was perfectly prepared and my son was amazed by its size. We are from Austria and have experience fishing in rivers, lakes and ponds, but this was our very first experience fishing in the ocean. The weather conditions were extremely challenging. It was raining and stormy onshore, with dark clouds and changing winds all around us. However, Captain Gabe constantly monitored the weather radar and always navigated the boat to the best and safest fishing spots. Everything was perfectly prepared: live bait, frozen squid, excellent fishing equipment and cold drinks on board. Captain Gabe also explained the local fishing grounds, the reefs and shipwrecks, which made the experience even more interesting. We tried for some big fish with live bait and although we didn’t land the trophy fish we were hoping for, we still had a fantastic day. Towards the end of the trip, Captain Gabe took us to another spot where we caught around 15 fish in less than 45 minutes, including seven or eight different species! The final bite of the day must have been a real monster fish. I had an incredible fight with it, but unfortunately I wasn’t good enough to land it. The fish managed to get under the rocks and escaped. Even though I lost it, it became one of those unforgettable fishing stories that we’ll be telling for years. A huge thank you to Captain Gabe for doing absolutely everything possible to give us an amazing fishing experience despite the difficult weather conditions. This trip will remain one of the most memorable moments of our family vacation, and we can wholeheartedly recommend Captain Gabe to anyone looking for an unforgettable fishing adventure.

  Fishing with a couple buddys

  We had an incredible half-day fishing charter! Captain Ty and first mate Preston were excellent, and knowledgeable, and worked hard the entire trip to put us on fish. We landed a large kingfish, a couple of barracudas, and even got into a couple of sailfish. It was an action-packed trip from start to finish, and the whole experience was a blast. Great boat, great crew, and great fishing—we’ll definitely be back!

  We had an amazing time on our fishing charter with Captain Gabe! We were really hoping to catch some mahi, and he was upfront with us that they hadn't seen any in the area for the past two weeks. Captain Gabe put us on the fish, and we ended up landing four mahi along with a giant barracuda! His knowledge, persistence, and positive attitude made the trip a blast. We had such a great time and would absolutely book another trip. Highly recommend if you're looking for a fun and memorable day catching fish on the water!

  Great Family Trip!

  Our family comes to Pompano beach every year for Spring Break and we always fo a fishing trip. Captain TJ is a great captain and worked very hard all day to put us on fish. Our group had a great day and were lucky enough to get six blackfin tuna, a dolphin, and a trophy wahoo! If youre looking for a boat with a captain who is going to work as hard as possible to make you have a successful trip, you wont go wrong booking Reel Floridian!

  we had a great time tith Captain Tyler. been on a few fishing chartes and this one was bu far the best. hes super chill and knows his shit. we snagged a few bonita a king mackerel a couple sharks and ended the day with 48" cuda. cannot recommend enough and we will definitely be back.
