Captain Mike is amazing! He is very knowledgeable and honest. He was upfront about the weather coming in and gave us a few options. The weather kept us closer to shore than expected, but he made sure our family had a great time. He was the only charter I found when we were looking to book, that invited younger children. He had so much patience with our kids and made sure they enjoyed themselves also. Everything about the trip was pleasant. If you’re wondering about the boat and fishing equipment, the boat was clean with a smooth ride and we had all we needed for equipment. Whether it’s your first time fishing or you’re a pro, Captain Mike definitely won’t disappoint. We plan to come back for more fishing trips!

We used Fire Line Charters for our first time fishing in the ocean and had a great experience. Originally, we wanted to go offshore, but the weather wasn’t looking the best. Mike had great communication from the day we booked and kept us updated as the trip got closer. Since the forecast wasn’t ideal, he asked if we’d be open to doing some inshore fishing instead.
As it turns out, the weatherman was (almost) right, so Mike took us offshore for a little while before bringing us back inshore where we had a great time fishing. We ended up catching a lot of fish including a 19” sheepshead, which was awesome.
Mike did a fantastic job teaching us about the fish we caught and even shared some tips on how to cook them—he recommended making tacos, which sounded amazing. He also put up with all of us joking and razzing each other the entire day.

I recently went on my first saltwater fishing trip and definitely picked the right crew with Fire Line Charters. It was a chilly ride out, but we still put together a great box of fish, including porgies, lane snapper, sheepshead, and weakfish.

We started getting bites almost immediately! Whenever the action slowed down, Captain Mike was quick to move us to new spots—and everywhere we went, I caught something. Mike is extremely knowledgeable and patient, teaching me a ton about saltwater fishing throughout the day. It’s easy to see why he is so highly rated on FishingBooker. If I’m ever back in the area, I know exactly who I’ll be booking with. 5+ stars!

Captain Mike is a great host. Jumping around the boat, helping (almost always doing) the bating, and just teaching us all how to saltwater fish. We all learned a lot, and had a lot of fun while fishing.

We had the absolute best day with Captain Mike! We caught a bunch of fish and even a Black Tip Shark right at the end. Capt. Mike was amazing with the kids with our youngest on board being 5. We will definitely be booking Fire Line Charters next year when we come back to Florida!
