This was our first charter of any kind and it is definitely something we will do again. Joe made everything easy and had everything we needed.

The communication with him before the trip was excellent and so was the conversations we had during our trip. He recommended things for us to do on our vacation to make it more memorable, and we took his advice. The fishing was so much fun and caught some really nice fish. We highly recommend using him if you want to have a good time and catch some fish!!

Captain Joe went above and beyond anything that I could have expected! He taught my son so much and we are already discussing booking again in July!

Smallmouth Bass fishing Niagara River

Afternoon session was spent in the river targeting smallmouth bass. Seasonal restrictions are catch and release only artificial lures only. Multiple double headers and even a triple header happened today. Despite high sun and heat the bite remained consistent.

Spring King Salmon fishing charter

Excellent fishing continues in Lake Ontario. King Salmon and Lake Trout came to the boat today in big numbers. Surface temperature in the lake was 53.6 degrees. Winds were light out of the south which gave us calm water during our morning session. Fish are starting to push off deeper as waters warm.

Lake Ontario Salmon Fishing Charter

We decided to switch from a morning to a afternoon charter. Residual waves from the past two day wind event were all but gone by the afternoon. Lake was like glass and we never stopped catching kings. Water surface temperature was 52.8 degrees.

Dirty water Brown Trout

Water temperature 39.6 degrees
Water color was mud with a few inches of visibility. This was the coldest day of the year. Brown trout bite was pretty consistent dispite dirty water. Winds were fairy calm with the occasional wnw gust. Beads were the hot bait of choice today.

Dropshot swim baits and casting crank baits consistently took bass. River temp 59.6 degrees overcast light north wind that shifted to south before the rain came in.

River cleaned up after weeks of mud

River temperature 39° winds east at 7 miles an hour. Water color near perfect brown trout hit plugs mid river steelhead hit beads and eggs in the upper sections of the river.
