Plenty of Bites on the St. Johns River

Hot days, steady bites, and plenty of action on the St. Johns River! ? We’ve been finding a solid mix of fish around structure and moving water. Early mornings have been the ticket before the afternoon heat settles in. Downtown Jacksonville continues to produce! ??

End-of-August fishing report ?☀️ August is going out the same way it came in — HOT! ? The fish apparently didn’t get the memo though. Redfish, trout, and a few surprise guests have been keeping the rods bent around Jacksonville. The game plan: fish early, stay hydrated, catch fish, and be back before the sun tries to cook us like a gas-station hot dog. ?? The redfish bite has been on fire! ?? We’ve been finding plenty of quality reds willing to eat, making for some awesome light-tackle action. Jacksonville’s inshore fishing continues to produce, and the fish are keeping rods bent!
