Lake erie Fishing after the blow; long r

Lots of miles, but killer fish made every one worth it. A solo crew from Iowa — a die-hard fisherman crazy enough to make the last-minute haul over knowing the lake had been absolutely wrecked by two straight days of north winds. Muddy water stretched all the way to the War Buoy — 12 miles from my dock and ugly as hell. But we stayed on ’em, hunted down the good fish, and turned a brutal setup into one hell of a trip. ?
