Bimini continues to offer some of the most consistent blue-water fishing anywhere in the Bahamas. Clean Gulf Stream water and excellent bait concentrations have kept the offshore bite active.
Wahoo: Early morning trolling continues to produce quality fish along the deeper drop-offs outside Bimini. High-speed lures and wire presentations have been effective.
Sailfish: Sailfish are showing throughout the offshore grounds, especially around bait schools. Live bait presentations continue to outperform artificial offerings when conditions allow.
Mahi: Weed lines, floating pallets, trees, and other offshore debris are holding good numbers of mahi. School fish are plentiful, with larger bulls mixed in around the better floating structure.
Blackfin Tuna: Tuna action remains steady during the early morning hours and around active bait schools. Live bait and vertical jigging continue to produce.
Blue & White Marlin: Bimini remains one of the premier destinations for anglers looking for marlin. Boats putting in the time along the Gulf Stream edge continue to raise fish, with the best opportunities coming during periods of clean blue water and strong current.
The combination of blue water, abundant bait, and multiple pelagic species makes Bimini one of the most productive offshore fisheries in the region. Whether you're targeting a single species or looking for a true offshore mixed bag, conditions continue to favor anglers willing to stay on the move.
