An enjoyable day of fishing!
We had a nice day out on the boat with Captain Tom. Although we didn't get a lot of bites, we did manage to pull in a big blackfin tuna and two kingfish, one large and one medium. Had a few other bites that didn't end up making it into the boat, and a couple that did but were not keepers, and despite there not being a lot of action, we had a good time. The captain was easy to work with, and explained how to kite fish (a new one for us), as well as providing tips on how to properly reel in a big fish without snapping the line. The only comment I would have is that despite there being sufficient rods, we only ever had four lines in the water at a time, even though there were five of us on the boat. I didn't question the captain about this and just assumed that with his many years of experience, he knew what was best.
