We booked a 4-hour trip with Dan & Cat. We brought our kids, and they were enthusiastic and great at teaching them the basics. Our second son is a child with Autism. I usually must inform people of it. However, the team did not show any frustration over his repeated behaviors and words, instead they were kind and warm. I didn’t have to say anything! The boat was spotlessly clean, safe, and fully equipped with top-tier gear. We were catching fish almost immediately, and the crew went above and beyond to help us reel them in, bait lines, and keep the energy high. They even cleaned and filleted our catch at the end of the day. It was a fun and stress-free day on the water and we will be back!

It was my family’s first time on a charter and so glad we chose Whiskey Runner Charters!! Dan and Kat were so much fun and they helped us have the best experience possible! We caught 15 fish between lake trout and rainbow trout! We highly recommend looking no farther when you are booking a charter! We will definitely be back again!!!
Awesome trip with Dan and first mate Kat. We got to experience a relaxing and scenic boat ride to the middle of Lake Cayuga where we caught 10 trout (and kept 8 because we had too much fish to take home!). Dan helped cut and filet after the fact on the way back to shore. Super fun time and warm crew with a solid boat.

Whiskey Runner Charters gave us another great fishing trip. We’ve been fishing Cayuga Lake with Cat and Captain Dan for years and we have taken home lake trout, rainbows, salmon and brown trout.
